This week Tom Hardy continued filming his latest project, Animal Rescue in Brooklyn, and once again he was nothing but gracious to all of the fans who waited near the set to meet him, and his co-star Noomi Rapace.

Tom never seems to mind meeting fans. Our readers have told us he’s taken the extra time to talk to their kids, pet their dogs, and sign their memorabilia, then he even thanks them for waiting for him to finish shooting!

HENRY CAVILL TALKS ABOUT THE PRESSURE OF BEING SUPERMAN

Will Henry Cavill Make Superman Cool Again? By: Scott Johnson on March 24, 2013 (COMIC BOOK)

There was a time when Superman was the most famous superhero in the world. He might very well still be, but you wouldn’t know it in America. At Halloween, Batman and Iron Man costumes usually far outnumber the Superman costumes.

Of course, the success of other superheroes has largely been driven by the movies. The Batman movie franchise is by far the highest grossing box office superhero franchise in the U.S. with close to a $1.9 billion total gross. The Avengers franchise is next with a $1.7 billion total gross.

Where is poor Superman on the list? Well, he’s way down below Spider-Man, X-Men, and Iron Man. Superman has only accumulated a paltry $518 million at the U.S. box office. The Dark Knight by itself made more than all the Superman movies combined at the box office.

Now, in fairness, most of the Superman movies were released in the seventies and the eighties before tickets prices reached the inflated levels where they sit today. But the fact that Superman has only had one movie in the last quarter century sort of proves the point of his waning popularity.

Tom Hardy Cuddling a Puppy! (TOO FAB)

Not to steal from Jon Stewart, but now, your moment of zen...

Yes, it's English movie hunk Tom Hardy, cuddling a gray pit bull puppy. Who needs more than that?

The 35-year-old was spotted on the set of his new flick "Animal Rescue" in New York on Monday, getting super close to his adorable, tiny costar (and the pup's stuffed animal stunt double).

In the crime-drama, Hardy stars as a man with criminal past who gets caught up in a heist and killing resulting from the lost pooch. But honestly, look at that face! We'd jump through hoops for the little guy too (we meant the puppy but really, either one).

TOM HARDY CAMPS OUT AT THE COLDEST PLACE ON EARTH, AND FREEZES A BUBBLE (HOLYMOLY)

Dreamboat
Mon, 04/03/2013 - 12:17 by Gemma Exley

Oooof oooof oooooooooof, here's Tom Hardy camping out in the COLDEST PLACE ON EARTH just because he can. Actually, it seems to be some kind of advertorial for dirty Shell oil, but ignore that bit and concentrate on Tom's sexy icicle beard. In the below clip he blows a bubble which freezes solid and chucks some boiling water in the air which transforms to snow because the temperature is minus 60. He says he's lucky his fingers haven't snapped off. And the rest.

Henry Cavill, Christian Bale: Christian Bale To Return As Batman Alongside Henry Cavill's Superman In Justice League Film? (E.)

Christian Bale could be set to return as Batman in DC comics’ Justice League movie, according to a report.

The deal which could make it happen is an alleged move by Warner Bros to give Batman trilogy director Christopher Nolan complete control over the comics’ universe, which sees its next instalment with Henry Cavill’s turn as Superman in Man of Steel.

The Superman reboot will be directed by Zak Snyder, but Nolan will executive produce, and the Latino Review, a site with a decent record of scoops on superhero and sci-fi movies, last month breaking the news that Harrison Ford was set to return to Star Wars.

The website claims that the Justice League movie has “gone into lockdown”, with Warner Bros pulling out all the stops to ensure that it is a success.
