They're Back!
Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman have taken part in the first read-through of Sherlock series three, with filming set to begin in the next couple of weeks.
BBC One’s official Twitter account posted a picture of leads Cumberbatch and Freeman fooling around in between reads, who were reunited after both going off to pursue high profile roles in Star Trek and The Hobbit respectively.
The tweet read: ‘Sherlock read-through over, plenty of surprises in store for series three!’
There certainly will be, given that the previous series ended in a cliffhanger that saw Holmes apparently fake his own death when he plummeted from a rooftop.
